Mary Boswell and Ernie Mosby to be Inducted in Section's HAF

On Saturday, February 4, 2012, Mary Boswell, a multiple USTA singles and doubles national champion and international cup team member, and Ernie Mosby, a longtime Mdi-Atlantic Section head official and national umpire will be inducted into the Mid-Atlantic Tennis Hall of Fame at the Columbia Country Club. Carol Wood Medals in Team, Individual World Championships

Carol Wood (Rockville, MD) teamed with Dori deVries (Reno, NV), Burnette Herrick (Tarboro, NC), and Dorothy Matthiessen (Pasadena, CA) to win the Queen’s Cup competition at the Super Senior World Championships in Antalya, Turkey. Wood also took the gold medal in the individual 75 and over doubles competition. Read More
