USTA/Maryland Grants:
Grants up to $1,000 are offered to USTA-qualified organizations who are well established community based organizations or agencies committed to: Increase tennis participation, support tennis programming, and foster diversity and inclusion with both participation and programming for various tennis programs, which will contribute to the long-term growth of tennis. USTA/Maryland Community Grant: One of the ways the United States Tennis Association/Maryland (“USTA/Maryland”) continues to succeed is through awarding grants to not-for-profit organizations that promote and develop the growth of tennis and use the sport of tennis to build stronger, healthier communities. 2013 Grant Application
Junior Travel Scholarship: The USTA/Maryland District seeks to provide deserving junior players with a measure of financial support in recognition of their dedication to achieving success in tennis. The scholarship offered is a one-time payment of $250 for endorsement to and participation in a USTA National event as listed on the application. The number of scholarships is limited. Fix-A-Court Grant: USTA/Maryland announces Fix-A-Court grants program. Applicants may request grants up to $2,500 from the USTA Maryland state office. USTA Maryland will give preference to those facilities that have secured local funding. The existing facility shall be available to the public and shall be maintained by public funds. The facility requests shall only be for renovation of existing tennis courts, court equipment and amenities, and shall not be for new construction, additions, or relocation of existing courts. *Fix-a-court applicant agrees upon completion of the project to arrange publicity to include a ribbon cutting ceremony with community leaders and USTA/Maryland representatives and appropriate press coverage.
