USTA League Tennis play is governed by four sets of rules and regulations:
- USTA National USTA League Tennis Regulations, and
- Sectional USTA League Rules (in this area the USTA/Mid-Atlantic), and
- District USTA League Rules (in this area the Maryland District), and
- Local League Rules (if any).
